How do you lose your oxygen or O2 diet?

In the O2 diet, it does not count calories, as in other weight loss regimes, but ORAC points (the ability of a product to absorb free radicals). The ORAC points system reflects the antioxidant capacity of different types of foods.

Antioxidants are nutritional substances that protect the body from free radicals and prevent the occurrence of serious diseases, such as cancer or heart disease.

Glassman is of the opinion that if you focus your daily menu only on foods with high antioxidant content (with many ORAC points), not only that you lose weight, but feel good, you are more energetic and beautiful every day.

There are no less than 5 variants of the O2 diet created for various purposes:

1. Basic oxygen diet

2. Oxygen diet for rapid loss of fat layers

3. Oxygen diet for revitalization

4. Diet to increase body immunity

5. Diet with oxygen for muscle toning.

Foods allowed in the oxygen diet

The main categories of foods recommended during the diet are fruits and vegetables, but also some types of meat, fish or dairy. Among the vegetables with the strongest antioxidant effect from which you have to design your daily menu are:

  • figs;
  • Watermelon;
  • green apples;
  • Lemon;
  • plums;
  • avocado;
  • mango;
  • grapefruit;
  • oil;
  • berries etc.

Among the vegetables with high content of antioxidants are:

  • green vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, stevia, green slab, etc.);
  • pepper;
  • tomatoes;
  • cucumbers;
  • cabbage;
  • mushrooms;
  • green beans.

Of the types of meat you are allowed to integrate into the oxygen menu, the author lists:

  • chicken or turkey meat;
  • Seafood;
  • Lamb;
  • beef etc.

In the oxygen diet, unlimited consumption of vegetables is allowed, but attention should be paid to daily portions of meat, fruit or whole grains. It is recommended to measure the eggs, bread, extra virgin olive oil or coffee.

We recommend the complete avoidance of fast or junk-food products, full of unnecessary fat and calories, of bakery products and those with sugar or industrially processed.

For better results, but also for maintaining muscle tone, the oxygen diet should be combined with regular sports, as many times a week.
