Just what you have gathered the toys of your boyfriend and are already scattered throughout the house. The carriages and pencils are thrown all over the room. No offense! When you have a small child, it is a real challenge to keep order. Here are some tricks to make cleaning the house easier and to teach the little one to be tidy. If you are used to the order still small, your child will become more responsible and take care of his own things.
Don't let dirt invade your house. Spend several minutes each day cleaning the "hot spots" in your home. Daily wipe the space around the kitchen sink, gather the clothes thrown in the bedroom, place the shoes in their place in the closet and so you will always have the house tidy.
Make a schedule for all your household chores!
Get your baby used to the cleaning day. Settle together when this day will be. If the whole family mobilizes, and once a week each makes room orders and helps with general cleaning, your child will learn what teamwork means, and it will be much easier for you. The schedule must be respected by each member of the family.
Let the little one help you!
Encourage your child to help you while you do your homework. Motivate him by telling him that you play and that he is your apprentice. Depending on the age, there are many activities in which the small child can help you in the household. In this way, you will encourage him to be responsible. Moreover, it will feel important because it is involved in the activities of the elderly.
Teach him to collect his toys from the room!
If your child has learned to walk and can remove his toys alone from the closet, then it's time to teach him to put them back together. Give him a rule from the beginning: once he has finished playing, he must collect his toys.
Make sure there are as many storage spaces as possible!
To help him sort things out, it is good to provide him with cabinets, baskets or boxes with precise destination. These should be set to an optimal height so that the little one can easily reach them.
Let him decide!
Give your child the opportunity to choose their own dress for the next day. This way, you will teach him to be responsible and to care about what choices he makes.
Be an example!
Show your child how to behave. The power of the example works very well at young ages. If you do not want him to eat in his room, do not do this while watching TV. He does what he sees around him. So, keep your clothes tidy in the closet and he'll do the same.
Reward your child for a job well done!
The child will be motivated to make order among his things if he feels he is appreciated and praised for his effort. In addition, if the child manages to keep the cleaning for a longer period, the reward should be tailored. You can promise her a movie outing, an afternoon in the park, or a toy she wants.
